Oh that's good coz I'm about to do another internet searching. I don't know about the 8-speed toyota trannies man, Our previous 19 RAV4 limited were plagued with issues. First the tranny programming (jerking/hesitating on slow speed). Second, the torque vectoring gasket issue that constantly whining - Toyota replaced the gasket and ended up destroying the whole front differential (literally destroyed - cracked!). So had to give it up and get the NX which also got the 8-speed but a more refined one.
