Default Help needed with AWD transfer case fluid

Hello all,
I'm having difficulties finding the drain and/or fill plug of my transfer case on the IS250 AWD from 2009 face lift.
However, looking below the transfer case there is a visible oil pan, and looking around the internet, I also found that there is magnet inside of it as well, which speaks to me that this should be taken out, and cleaned, but then where is the fill plug located if I can't find it?
Is the transfer case fluid shared with the transmission fluid of this model/year? if so, do I also need to remove both oil pans(transmission, and transfer case) to clean them, before filling in the oil from the transmission fill plug?
The car currently have 160 thousand something miles on it, and since I'm the 2nd owner of the vehicle, it is unknown to me if the fluid was ever changed...
The reason for me to want to change this is simply because there is a small leak from the transfer case outlet towards the rear drive shaft (an O ring or something) which I plan on changing, and since probably the whole unit will have to go down, and it will probably leak out some fluid anyway, I will have to replace it, or at least fill some. But as I said, I'm having difficulties locating the fill/drain plugs of the said transfer case.... So now I'm stuck wondering if it's simply me, and the technicians who can't find it, or the reason for this is simply because there are no fill/drain plugs, and it shares the same oil with the transmission....

The transfer case is one with the transmission. See links listed in this thread here:

Now the small secondary mini pan. It should be opened up as well to clean the pan, and magnet. Just a few days ago I reached out to a member on the GS forums. He stated to open unbolt the pan, wipe down the components. Then seal it back up with a FIPG of your choice as there is no gasket replacement for this. Here is the detailed information. I plan to do this in a few months as well.

Another is let the FPIG cure at least 24 hours. Most say they can be run after a few hours. Why risk the job again JM2C.

OP, be sure to wipe all mating surfaces with acetone or lacquer thinner. Brake clean might be okay too.

90% alcohol works too for cleaning surfaces, cheap, dries up quickly.

Not to be confused with 90 proof! Although it may work too!
