are 2009+ side mirrors compatible with 2006-2008 models? As in do the harnesses need any sort of reppining?

 

Quick check would be to compare part numbers, if the same they are for sure OK, if not just call your local Lex dealer and ask.

Never mind, thought this was a 3IS conversion... I mixed up threads!

They will not be the same PN, that is certain well unless you're talking about the wiring harness itself? Then some options get the auto night time tint too.

I'd suggest you log onto TIS or alldatadiy.com and look at the wiring diagram / schematic for each or buy damaged one for cheap and poke around with that.

Personally I'd like the door handle with the touch pad to lock it but dislike the drivers key hole exposed always.

 

How nice would auto folding mirrors be!?!? NigelJdm sells side mirrors, but unsure if they’re retro fitted for the correct years.

 

Hey bbaugher47, They're selling "2006 - 2008 IS250/350 LED Turn Signal Mirror". But a tech from the dealership told me 2006 model does not have wiring for the turn signal. Do you think the tech was wrong?
