Really nice job you've done! Do you recall which fuse # and/or location in the fuse box the turn signal fuse is situated at? re: "*Replaced 15 amp blinker fuse located in engine bay above passenger wheel well."?

Hey thank you! To be honest I don’t. But I took the fools proof way of eliminating factors, I literally pulled ever fuse and visual check them. I would check all fuses for the mentioned areas from earlier in my post. Above passenger wheel well, above drivers wheel well, drivers kicker panel and I think there might be one on the passenger kicker but I don’t know for sure.
what symptoms are you experiencing, no blinker??
if so I would check fuses, hazard button (make sure it’s not in a mid way position between on and off). Also I remember months ago reading something about testing whether or not the brake lights came on, as if the brake light switch may cause blinker issues if it goes out. I have a feeling the fuse check will fix it tho.
Remember to check fuses with a multimeter for true accuracy, although rare, fuses can pass a visual test while indeed being bad.
let me know if I can help with any further questions.
So received a quote to ping this from Macao for 1000-1500$ for the basic job. I decided to buy the paint($200) and supplies($150-200) to paint it myself. I took auto body in highschool so I’m familiar with the process but this is my first time actually paint a car. I will not be attempting to blend anything, the transition from 15yr old pint to new hopefully won’t be too drastic.
i will say it wasn’t until my last clear coat that I realized the trigger on my spray gun wasn’t tuned properly. This led to light coats with an orange peel surface, currently I’m waiting for the clear coat to cure before I begging sanding the finish down.
Here are some pictures of my progress.
Taped, peeped with 600 grit for hood and a plastic adhesion coat on bumper with flex agent to avoid cracking. Base coat Clear coat You can see here some of the orange peel 24 hrs later I pulled it out of the shop to cure faster in the sun, it’s 50-60 degrees f here which is a little colder than optimal for this curing process.
