Are there any special tools beyond a jack and tire iron etc. needed to replace brake pads on 2nd gen? Would like to DIY if possible, also any suggestions (brands/type) on pads for front and rear?
You need a tool to push the brake piston back into the caliper, or use a C-clamp if you have one. Torque wrench to torque all the bolts to spec. Get akebono brake pads.
