A/C venting help
Hi all-
Just helped my son purchase a 2010 IS250 yesterday with an issue (knew about it prior to purchase). When running the air condtioning the 2 drivers side vents blow cold air but the passenger side blows regular air. Anyone else run into this issue?
Looking for advice on where to start diagnosing this. Seems strange that all 4 vents wouldn't be connected behind dash but thinking there may be flapper or something that's stuck in the closed position.
any help or suggestions are appreciated!

No odd noises to speak of, in fact for a car with 140k+ miles it's amazing quiet both inside and out. Not aware of previous owner reports as i bought it from a dealer. Checked out history report on Lexus website as well and didn't see any mention of this issue.
I'm thinking there must be a damper stuck or something but was thinking maybe it's a problem someone else has run into and found a solution.

I had a similar issue a while back where my passenger side was blowing warm air and the driver side was blowing cold air. The issue corrected itself after I randomly adjust the temperatures on both sides and restarted the car a couple of times. I think there wasn't anything wrong with the system other than the control module somehow got confused. You can also try disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes to see if the settings get reset.
