Default VSC comes on only in gear

hey guys, new to the forum. I just bought a 2007 IS250 and noticed that the VSC light was on. No check engine light, just VSC light only. I tried the reset procedure and it will reset and be ok with the car idling and revving all day long. As soon as I put it in drive or revers(shift out of park) it will come on immediately. I did notice that the front bumper was replaced due to an accident. Could one of the sensors be out? I also noticed that the rear taillights have been changed and the blinker blinks crazy fast. lol

other than that the car is immaculate and runs perfect. Any suggestions what it could be?

It's either a dead wheel sensor triggering it, or something else. You would need a ABS scan tool to read the code.

If the car was in an accident. One sensor wire could be damaged.

How do I perform the zero point calibration on this particular model/year? Is it just the 4/12 pin in the OBD port and start the car or do I have to do the tap 8 times method. I think that is the issue, since the front bumper was replaced when I bought it. maybe out of alignment as well.

If using paper clips. Make sure they're thick enough to make contact on the connector pins.
