staggered wheels on AWD ?

staggered wheels on AWD ?
Hello,
Could I put staggered wheels 18x8J(front) & 18x8 1/2J(rear ) on my 2011 AWD ? ...or would that mess up AWD system ?
I know staggered are primarily for RWD...BUT they looks so cool ...
Any advice would be much appreciated...Thx
