Hello, So about 4 months ago I bought the DEPO headlights for my IS350 and yesterday the driver's side led strip some of the leds went out. Any solutions for this issue? I don't see how could I replace them or the strip. I recently installed HID bulbs to replace those Halogen bulbs but they're OEM HID and don't see how could that be the problem.
The solution I have found is the cut the power LED wire on both headlights so they don't light up lol
They seems to be very unreliable. Another solution is completely replace the whole LED strip with your own LEDs and circuits. The seller might also offer a 6 months warranty, you can try to claim that as well.
I heard the version 2 of these are better with the DRLs. The version 1 were notorious for DRL failure. You know you have Version 2 if it has 100% and 50% dim when parking/headlights are on.
I retrofitted mine with new custom DRL Boards and chips.

Yeah, I think the seller I was purchasing from said they were offering a 6 month warranty or something. Hard to know if they will honor that.
It's interesting that they released a second version with more OEM like function and more reliable. I'm somewhat tempted to get a new set, though there are triple LEDs that are pretty nice looking too.
