I have an 06 IS350 and have to do the pedal dance to turn traction control off which is kind of annoying to deal with. Can a 07+ traction control computer be swapped in place of my 06 computer and have the ability to turn it off fully through the dash switch? Also, where is this computer located in the car? Thanks!

Sweet! Just found one on eBay for $70 shipped This was one of the reasons I didn't want an 06 model, glad there is a fix for it! Part number I ordered is 89540-53290 with VT on the sticker.

 

thinking about doing this to my 06 is350 as I want it on a quick notice but did you install it and was there any issues after install when you pressed on the traction to totally disable it? was there warning lights that popped up all over the place? want to do it but not if every single light pops up when I disable it via button with 07 traction ecu. thankz.

Heres a thread I made after I installed the ECU in my 06 is350. I posted a picture of what you will see in the dash when you disable it. I recommend because its not that expensive and it makes no difference in your day to day driving until you have traction off
