2007 Lexus is250 won’t start

2007 Lexus is250 won’t start
Ok, so I purchased a 2007 Lexus is250 November 24th 2020. The one issue I e noticed is that sometimes , for example, if I’m backing out of my driveway, then I switch gear to D, the car will go dead but I’m able to crank it back up. Today, I went to get groceries and when I tried to leave the store, I backed out of the parking spot, put the car in drive and it died. I tried to restart it, but this time it isn’t starting won’t even turn over ..... the shop it’s at is having a hard time trying to find the issue, any ideas or input ??
