Which Sparkplugs To Use?
I have tried the original OEM and the NGK. Both Iridium.
I felt slight performance boost using OEM. I felt zero change using NGK that made me skeptical if the workshop did really replace them or not.
Anyway, I never faced misfire due to spark plug, but they get carbon build up on them very fast. At the end changing them didn't change fuel consumption.
The real boost I got is after changing fuel injector lines (Previous recall), my guessing these were clogged up with dirt as our cars don't have proper fuel filter like BMWs for instance.

Slight change of topic, but having someone toss plugs at a refined engine, may not lead to an actual tuneup as a simple thing like correcting the gap to make them all the same AND correct for the application goes a long ways towards running well!
If your location doesn't allow the best fuel, you should consider fuel treatment additives 2 to 3 times a year.
