Is this the bolt that goes through the alternator back side?

If it's not already crossed threaded. It might just be the insert spinning.You could try putting a 1/4 drive 6 point socket that fits. Maybe even swivel socket with an extension.

Remove the diagnostic box, and ground strap, and whatever is in the way.

This will alow to reach down and hold the nut with the ratchet on the backside. While you try to remove it from the front.

I used a 3/4 wrench, thought I would never get it off lol.
