Effing Ffff P0504
new to the forum, been browsing it for the last 2 weeks but can’t find the answer I need. Hoping I can get some help. Just bought this is350 2 weeks ago and went on a 2 hour drive and 20 min of highway driving in, I got the P0504 code. Brake sensor A/B. Bought a new sensor, took it to a Lexus dealer and cleared the code. Went back on my drive and 20 min in. Same effing code. So ordered a factory part from Lexus for $90 flippin bucks and installed it. Drove on the highway for the first time today and literally, right at the 20 minute mark of driving....****ing code comes up again. Wtf is going on? Could be it something other than the sensor? This is driving me crazy!
Quick search for the code results in either faulty wiring. Connector issue.
Blown brake bulbs.
Have you checked the brake lights working? All LED firing up. Including the third brake light?

Ya I had the dealer check all the bulbs and they think it might be some internal wiring to the ECU? To me that seems like a way to scam some money out of me. But all bulbs are working
Does the car has any tow hitch wiring? Or previously had one?
Could be a short in the wiring. If water is in the connector.
Last only other thing is a blown fuse, or problems with the abs senors.
That's all I could find.

If you clear the CEL again, see if the cruise control works. Keeping in mind that it may not deactivate with a brake tap. You may have to manually turn it off.
