I need help with the name of the molding between the windshield and the hood. I dont know what its called I ordered something of ROCKAUTO. seems like its the side molding strip and not the bottom one.

Hahaha only $580 for a piece of plastic? I would check out auto-recyclers, eBay, for sale ads. Maybe someone will be able to come up with part numbers?

These are the part numbers from when I bought new ones for mine. I dont know which part number is for what side. There some clips youll need to buy. I bought the clips from amazon I think it was like $20 for 10 clips (there are 5 clips each side). Im pretty sure I remember looking up the price for the clips at lexus and it was like $5 each clip

Wait, these things are $50 bucks each in Canada. It can't possibly be $580 unless you got quoted for a different part.

He was most likely quoted for the wrong item. At best those windshield moldings should be $50-60 per side. The clips can add up in price if you grab original Lexus clips, believe they retailed for $4 a piece (you need 10 total). You can buy generic ones, but I know a few here, including myself, have had issues with them staying locked in to the molding. They should absolutely be replaced when you replace the moldings.

try ordering from Bell Lexus in AZ, they (along with a few other dealers online) are offering free shipping for order of $75+ right now.

The moldings are $45/each and the clips look to be $5 for that P/N above (not sure if its for 10 or 1 clip).

May want to call them about that.
