So I'm not a Mercedes fan but my brother in law has a 2010 Mercedes c 300 and when his steering wheel is straight the passanger tire is straight with the rest of his wheels but the driver side looks like it's turned out about half way , I'm trying to diagnose what it would be and I'm somewhat mechanically inclined but I know know what would actually cause this to happen. I personally own a 06 Lexus is 350 and I think Mercedes are junk cars but I would like to help the guy out as he is not very mechanically inclined and doesnt know a whole lot so if someone could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated also sorry for posting a Mercedes on here but I didn't wanna have to join a Mercedes group I'm thinking like inner and outer tie rods !? Driver side is turned although the passanger side is straight idk what would cause this but I would like to help him out
It could be a lose our bent lower control arm or worn out bushings, or it could be just way out of alignment. I would take it in for alignment, hopefully there is nothing bent or broken
I had to follow him home the day it happend and he has to do 20 km an hour just to limp it home I was thinking inner tie rod but like I said I don't know forsure I'll see if he's willing to limp it to a shop for a wheel alignment thank you very much for your help greatly appreciated

Yes, it could also be inner tie rod, that is a possibility. Now that you mentioned more information, I think it is more serious than an alignment. It sounds like something broke or bent and not just came loose. He is probably going to need more than an alignment, unfortunately
That would be super scary to be driving like that. At any moment it could completely break on you and who knows where you'd end up. Next time, call for a flatbed.
Hoping for any fix though; something like a bent/broken tie rod. Good luck!
