Default Is there a way to fully disable or remove immobilizer system on 2IS

Hi guys

My steering lock ECU keep going out and it sucks when that happen. The car won't start and they would crank for ever. I have gone thru 3 of them in the pass 3 years.

Maybe there are something wrong with the wire that run thru this ECU. It would be hard to find the root cause. Maybe I would have to replace a center console harness and that would cost a fortune

So is there a way to disable the immobilizer? and still retain the key FOB function?

Any thought?

Thanks

What you're asking is going to be a lot harder/impossible compared to finding out what your exact problem is. I'd advise finding someone who specializes in these cars who can hunt down the problem.
