Default Transmission Issues

Recently I had a transmission Code come up P2714. Which indicated a bad pressure solenoid. I had access to another transmission valve body so I swapped the valve bodies out. Now car will not move forward or backwards. Is there something I am missing or does new valve body have to be programmed. Any Ideas?

Hi there LowCash,

I am just a noob on here, but in my travels across the forum I have heard of reseting the ECU, now im not sure if it will help you at all but I thought its worth a try.

the short of it is to disconnect the battery for a while then reconnect it, wait some more then start the car up and leave it alone for a while. apparently it will idle rough then will relearn the engine and correct its self.

I am no expert though and suggest you look up how to reset the ECU first just to get a better understanding.

Here is the link - https://www.clublexus.com/how-tos/a/...our-ecu-363500

Let me know how it goes.

your friendly noob,

Well, I hate to point out the obvious, but perhaps the valve bodies that were swapped in were bad OR installed incorrectly somehow. Time to get back under there and look into it further.

Good luck!
