I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any recent ECU updates for the 2nd Gen IS (2010 IS350 in particular). When I used to bring my Toyota's in for the 2 year free maintenance, occasionally I would see on the invoice that they performed firmware updates from Toyota. A few years back my 2006 Toyota Camry SE was having an issue with the transmission where it would occasionally get confused and slam hard into one of the lower gears when accelerating. The dealer applied an ECU update and the issue was gone.

I'm having zero issues with my IS350, but am curious if there are any updates that improve performance/fix an underlying issue. I wanted to find out if anyone knows offhand before sending an email to the Lexus Service manager assigned to me when I brought my car in to have the dashboard changed. Besides being in the Lexus dealer a couple of weeks ago for the Dashboard change, the last time it was serviced by Lexus was March of last year (my mechanic serviced it in September)

 

Nothing new that I've heard or read about on CL here.

 

If you had it at the dealer for the dash replacement, they would have applied any updates at that time.

 

There are no new calibrations available from Lexus USA or Lexus Canada for the 2010 IS350.
