Default Headlights

I have a 2007 IS350 with the original OEM headlights, it has come time to replace them and I am looking for suggestions on plug and play OEM, aftermarket, and/or upgrades...

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Do you like the factory look or do you prefer an aftermarket (different than factory) look? I ask because I just installed TYC factory replacement headlights this past week and an loving them so far. They just need a final beam adjustment. Installation was straight-forward and basically plug-and-play. Just had to swap over the factory turn signal wiring harness over to the new headlights.

These are the vland headlights. I liked the aftermarket look. If you have AFS though, you will
no longer have it and you’ll need to disable your AFS to stop getting a code. You’ll also need to manually aim them which can be time consuming. Light output is fine for city driving. High beam output is pretty weak compared to OEM in my opinion. Sequential turn signal looks pretty good. $600 for a plug n play option that is a lot cheaper than upgrading to the newer 2011+ headlights with the LED DRL.

I too am looking for new headlights: 2011+ OEM or the HID depos. Both options are $1,000 or more.

I used TYC headlights for a different vehicle and they didn't last 3 years before starting to turn yellow. If you are changing your lights due to discoloration, I recommend trying to restore what you have. Buy a 3m restorer kit and some Spray Max 2k clear coat:
Amazon Amazon

Don't apply the clear coat with the headlights on the car unless you tape off most of the car. You would also need adhesion promoter. Spray Max makes one but it is $23... Dupli Color also makes one for $12.
