Hi guys!!
First post on this amazing helpful forum, I've owned my first lexus is250 08' for about a month now, after all the possible maintenance done to the car im left with small annoying problem coming from the driver's door, it's seems when the window is fully closed on bumps or bad road thers a rattle from the glass, when opened 2-3 cm, the noise is gone.
Ive opened the door panel and tightened all the visible screws, maked sure all the clips are in place, even tried to spray silicone on the rubber
and yet the problem hasn't solved.
thank you guys in advance if you could help me with this or guide me where to look.

have you tried the silicone spray on all the rubber door lining on the door itself and the one on the body? Please make sure they are all covered and give an update here.

 

yes mate i tried it.
could it be the rubber lining or something inside the door panel? The sound is like metal/glass not plastic.
i dont wanna go the dealer and get robbed.

 

have a feeling like the door is misaligned....look from the front .. is the door closing fine ?

 

The window is closed hard like slamming not like the other windows.
tried to bend the frame of the window by pushing it towards up, not fixed yet 😫
