Default Replacing bank 1 sensor 2 02 sensor?

Hey guys i read somewhere but i can't find the thread of replacing the dowbstream 02 sensor. I have a new one to put in on sunday i know where the sensor is located. But i have read you need to to just pull the drivers side carpet to get to the connector others said you need to remove the whole drivers seat to get to it. I want to do this the easiest possible. Can someone confirm for me? Btw is bank 1 sensor 2 after the cat.

Yes you can pull the carpet back. I have done this to both sides. B1S2 and B2S2 are after the cats right under the floor where your feet would rest. I dont have pictures but if u dont mind yanking at the carper a bit it should go back in place. start from the front and make your way back till you are under the radio or a bit past. Only needing to pull enough to get to the plug for the 02 sensor.
Tips:
* go to your local auto store and get an O2 sensor socket
* use penetrating oil like BP blaster where the O2 sensor screws in to the exhaust. Make sure to clean it up before installing the new one.
* warm your car up to operating temperature then loosen the O2 sensor after you shut the car OFF. be careful the exhaust is extremely hot.
* do a good arm workout a night before replacing the o2 sensors.
If u have any other ?'s il be happy to help any way i can.

If you still have an error code for B1S2 it is likely because bank one is on the right side of the vehicle.
FWIW: Reference is always from the drivers seat looking forward.

B1S1 = right front
B2S1 = left front

B1S2 = right rear
B2S2 = left rear
