Default Disk changer

I recently picked up my first Lexus. It’s a 2009 ls460. I have a few minor issues I’m trying to sort out and just can’t seem to get things figured out. Before I pull my dash apart and remove the disk changer I figured I should check and see if anyone else has solved this. My disk changer won’t open to insert a disk. The status light doesn’t work either. When I push the load button nothing happens. No message on the nav screen no orange or green light. I assumed it was a fuse. But of course I can’t find a bad fuse in any of the 4 fuse blocks. I’m no dummy when it comes to mechanical ability on basic cars but this thing is something else. I’ve never seen anything like it. My next step will be a multimeter testing every fuse in the car and then on to pulling the disk drive and direct wiring to test. If someone could point me in an easier direction I would be very appreciative and can move on to the next minor issue. Thanks in advance.

Are you referring to an IS350 or an IS250? If you have an LS460 (I wish I had one too), please post on the LS Forum:

funny story, I took my time and thought I did post in the right section. I guess I didn’t realize ls was different from LS haha. Sorry about that. I will repost over there. Thanks.
