Installed RR Racing tune today, 1st drive was amazing, it has a better response than PPE Headers mod.

Acceleration in lower RPM is more responsive.. and over rev range is lively ..

See, you get the tune earlier than me lol. Mine is on the way, RR is having $50 off on it so I bit the bullet.

You need to do a long pull on 4th or 5th gear, to max the tune according to RR.

I cashed in on the $50 sale also!

I had some issues with loading my ECU file to the MyGenius Client Software, I keep on getting error message (800) not able to read license. When I emailed Simon @ RR Racing, he wasn't given me much in terms of troubleshooting other than try again by updating your MyGenius device only.

When I first installed the Client Software I kept updating until the receive the message "No more updates available" I then proceeded to update the MyGenius device. Afterwards I went to my car to read the ECU ID afterwards running into the issue.

In the end, I resolve it by uninstalling the Client Software and installing again and followed the same procedure as before and BOOM, it worked 1st time. Emailed my file to Simon @ RR Racing and within the hour he emailed back my 7,200 Rev limit tune. It's absolutely bonkers and love it more than my PPE install. Check out my Instag for a video clip.

Make sure when you install, you have a stabilizer even know it only take less then 3 minutes to read & less than 10 minutes to upload tune, better be safe than sorry.

What do you mean, to max the tune I need to do a pull in 4th or 5th - do you mean I need to max out to rev limit or 4th or 5th to make the tune full functioning?

Mate, what is your Insta username?

What did you mean by stabiliser?

Lastly, please read the second website link I sent you before, it will answer your question. Sorry for short reply, currently at work.

Instagram name is LEXF350 I will post up better video footage shortly.

A battery stabiliser/jumper pack can be purchased at Supercheap Auto, use this to ensure your car's battery doesn't die might point of data exchange.

Sorry mate, I look at all 3 links and must be blind and can't see the reference to 4th / 5th gear pulls. From memory reading the instruction manual, 4th and 5th were outlined as the best gear to do a dyno run on.

Ok, I will try to explain what I understood from RR Racing. After you flash/reset ECU, your KCLV will revert to base 15. In order to bring it back up to the max your engine can do, it is advised to do long pull under load in 4th or 5th gear.

Now I get it, the above was covered off in the instructions but I understood this to be related to the ISF, for 350's you just need to drive it for 30 minutes and ECU will relearn. Upon the first startup post ECU upload the revs sit up around 2-3k RPM. I waited for it to drop about 1-2 minutes but it didn't, so took it out of gear the rev's drop then away I went. It didn't push the car until about 20 minutes in, once I heard the idle started to sound/feel normal..
