Default Let's talk Fuel Economy

2007 IS250 RWD

How's your fuel economy?

Recently replaced:
Transmission
TCM
Alternator

Some time last year I got Error Codes P2004 and P2017:
P2004: Powertrain
Intake Manf Runner Control Stuck Open bank 1 a)
P2017: Powertrain
Intake Manf Runner Position Sensor/Switch Circuit High bank1

It seems like once this started happening my fuel economy went from 34MPG average to ~23MPG. I drive almost exclusively on the highway so it's really noticeable.

Probably the same issue your having. I removed my intake manifold around 70k or so. The nut was already loose. Put loctite, and put it back together.

Yours might be motor, or so. I would give this a shot first.
