Is there any good solution for installing a carplay receiver on a 2012 IS250 with factory nav? I understand the SOSCHE kit will not work due to a software issue. I don't mind losing the nav but I do want the backup camera (replacement) and steering and environmental controls to work.

All of those "tesla mods" are for the most part riddled with issues that make owners frustrated.

That’s what I’ve sussed on the “Tesla type” from doing a lot of reading. Not going that way. GROM announced a forum group buy recently, starting later this week IIRC - look around for those interested. $120 off I believe.
