2010 IS250 RWD Differential Fluid Change
Just got done changing the differential fluid on my 2010 IS250RWD with 148K miles. To my knowledge, it had not been changed before. This was an extremely easy preventative maintenance job and if you're mechanically inclined at all I would highly recommend doing this yourself rather than paying a dealer. I'm attaching a link to a great how-to a used as well as my notes that as specific to the 250. Hopefully this helps someone else out.

Shout out to user "Janizary" who posted that.
-My IS250 only required about 1.2qts which is exactly what the owners manual specifies.
-I used the exact fill method of filling a clear container with the exact amount of new oil as what came out and accounted for the fluid capacity of the pump I was using.
-The only "specialty" tool needed for this is a torque wrench.

Thanks. The DLR was charging some few hundred dollars. I just feel like everytime I come in for an oil change there some 300$ repair needed or preventive maintenance. The last I had was 6 spark plugs done. Costed a pretty penny, now their like change the DIFF fluid if you plan on keeping the car. I am not a mechanic at all but glad to see this post, for sure.
