Default OEM wheel compatibility

I have a 2012 IS350 AWD automatic and it came with 17x8 wheels with 225/45/17 tires. I saw some OEM wheels from a 2004 IS300 that are 17x7 with the same size 225/45/17 and was wondering if the wheels from the 2004 would work for winter tires on the 2012. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The hub size and bolt pattern stayed unchanged over the years. Before you commit, I would fit the wheel(s) on the front and see if they clear the front brake calipers. Other than that you should be fine.
