Unless you purposely disable it on every startup, it runs all the time.
Well - partially true. If you disable it and never touch the AUTO button it may stay off. But if it were plugged, that or plugged moon roof drain could cause issues.

Moon roof area should not hold water or something is plugged.

 

Turns out the sunroof drain was clogged. The water would accumulate and leak down thru the pillar and seep down to the floor/carpet by the fuse box. I let it dry replace some fuses and the issue is resolved. Now i have to find a way to stop the moisture by the amp. Im having music/aidio/sound issues when the car is damp.
