Brand new battery is dead.
Little background. My daughter drives this car so I could not troubleshoot until I had it but, here are the symptoms.
2008 IS 250 120XXX
1 One year old battery dead and had to be jumped.
2. Autoparts guy said my alternator going south, makes sense so I replaced it.
3 Autoparts guy replaced battery free so I'm thinking good to go.
4. 1 day later battery dead again. Jumped it drove home and when I shutoff ignition the blower motor is still running, I had to manually turnoff climate control. Everything else dash lights etc shuts off just the climate control.
5. That seems to work as long as I shutoff climate control car starts fine.
So what has failed?
I'm back here after three years away when I totaled my dream car. 02 GS300 2JG-GTE T4 borg warner, custom exhaust, LED tails. Projector headlights Coilover, TRD sway bars front and rear and LS BBK, staggered 19 wheels not slammed but low.

Well I think you've explained it yourself. The blower is still running, and killing your battery. It has to be the blower relay still energized after you shut off the car. Someone was looking for the location of said relay a few threads back. I'm not sure what controls the blower at this point. The IS doesn't seem to have a resistor.
