Battery and alternator change car won’t start

Battery and alternator change car won’t start
07 is 250, I changed my battery and alternator, now my brake pedal is stiff and start button won’t turn green, acts like it can’t read my key fob. All fuses are good, any thought?
Did you check the fusible link next to the battery? Check for breaks in the line.
