I’m a brand new and proud owner of a 2011 is350 awd. I already have the invidia axle back on it and its not what I expected. It’s too quiet!! I don’t know if there is anything I could do to make it louder.
I’ve looked on the internet and It just looks like there’s no midpipe option for the AWD.
Res delete? Cat delete? I’m not an expert muffler wise but I’d like to hear from you guys!
Thanks in advance
ps: I live in Montreal, Canada so its not that easy to get parts from here lol
straight pipe!! I'd suggest deleting the resonator first and then doing a cat delete after if it's not loud enough for you. Or maybe try swapping resonators for different performance resonators from like Vibrant. Ottawa, ON guy here, I thought Montreal was pretty strict on sound levels?
I'd remove the resonator first and see how it goes. I've got custom mufflers and already had the resonators removed prior and it's definitely loud enough for me. Don't think you'll need anything else to get the sound you're looking for, then again everyone has a different sense of what is loud haha. Still, try it and you might be surprised, it'll cost you next to nothing anyway.

i will definately try it thanks for the answer. Is it expensive? You need to replace it with stainless steel right?

I know the laws. There is some kind of tolerence when your car is not to loud. Depends on the cop I guess. I had a mazda 6 with mazdaspeed exhaust that was pretty loud and been driving it for 10 years with only 2 tickets. Not bad.

living in Canada... I'd stick with stainless steel unless you can afford titanium(lol). I think you can get mild steel and paint it black with some high temp paint if you want to save a little money

How much did you pay for the resonator delete? I’m in Ottawa, can’t find a place for cheap everyone I’ve called is trying to charge 250-300$
