Default is250 Front Splitter

I have a 2012 is250 and I am looking to get a front splitter with rods. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Here is a link for a reference ---> http://shop.aprperformance.com/index...product_id=469

A year ago, I looked and looked for a 2nd gen IS front splitter, but found nothing but custom options. APR there I found they had the nearest to a fitting custom option and I came across a member that had installed a custom APR splitter; so I know you can get them and make them work.

So should I contact APR and see what they could do for me or should I order the one in the link I provided?

Yes. They might have a profile in their system for a 2IS that they just don't advertise that they did a 1-off of something that they could offer you. Let us know what you find out from them!

I contacted APR, they had a template for the is250 front splitter but don't have it anymore and so they sent me an email how to make a template for the IS250 and to mail it to them. Here is the email:

Here are some instructions on how to do that.

Please follow the instructions below:

1. Find a large sheet of cardboard.

2. Place the cardboard underneath the front bumper.

3. Draw the bumper bottom outline onto the cardboard.

4. Fold up the cardboard and send it to us at:

APR Performance, Inc.

225 Pacific St

Pomona, CA 91768

Once we have the template the build time is 2 weeks. Cost on a custom splitter starts at $428 + shipping, but the price can increase if the dimensions exceed 72"x24".

$428?! I think for that price, i'll make a template, then see if Home Depot or Lowe's (maybe even Amazon) sell a durable material to make one myself lol
