I was in the process of removing my alternator and once I finally nudged it loose I heard the sound of liquid leaking out. At the time I didn't think too much of it since I couldn't see or feel any liquid so I continued to try and remove the alternator. Once I finally got the alternator removed I noticed a puddle of reddish liquid on the ground. I still see the liquid slowly dripping out but I cannot locate the leak anywhere. It is a bit slippery but it does not smell like oil. Has anyone ever run into this? Thank you in advance
Thank you

Totally off topic but where did you get that front lip from and can I get more pics of it?
thats a Fabulous style lip. They are all over ebay for like $100 now. I got an early replica back in 2007 made of fiberglass which fit well but had to clear bra it since fiberglass chips like crazy. The eBay ones now are polyurethane or polypropylene
Ya, color looks like trans fluid but why would the block drain come loose unless perhaps while working in braille mode, you slipped in there and inadvertently loosened the drain bolt by accident? Possible I'd guess.... ??
Yes that is a fabulous replica front lip purchased from eBay. Back to the original topic, since they may be ATF fluid how do I check the level and how do I refill it?

It's possible that someone used the Toyota LL coolant (RED). Instead of using the SLL (Pink) coolant. That's my guess.
I zoomed in on the spill. Looks like coolant to me. However, the best way to tell, is to put you finger in it. It it feels slippery, it's transmission fluid, if it feels like water, well, it is.
