2007 is250 LCD went blank
Hello, I recently changed the screen digitizer because the touchscreen was not working. It worked for a few days. Now a new problem arises, the screen turned off after awhile.
I tried reading the other thread about changing the power driver circuit board because the screen goes black completely. However, mine either won’t turn on at all or completely shuts off while driving.
I’m not sure if this is a power connection issue, or maybe I accidentally loosen a connection while fixing the digitizer.
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

The LEDs buttons for climate control do not light up anymore. So, I should order a new power driver board? Or are you referring to the car battery?
And when the the screen is on, I was able to control everything, but the buttons do not illuminate. However, the screen shut off after awhile

The problem you have is call display driver board which is inside the unit. This is become more and more now (It's well know problem with our car). you could buy it and replace it. The buttons only light up if you headlight is on. I've been dealing with a lot of car having same problem like you. Some unit just quit working right after filling gas.

I just took the whole unit apart and made sure all the cables and connections are tighten. It seems to work after I put in the system back in. The LCD stays on for the last 2 days without problems. However the LEDs on the climate control buttons still not lighting up. Thanks for the feedback. I will definitely look into the display driver board if the system black out again.
