Default Looking to get an 06+ is350...

My ideal car is one with the sports package, however there is one for sale that is a fully loaded Premium package. Is the sports package worth waiting out for? The suspension I can always upgrade myself and that was my main reason for wanting the sport model, although I do really like the aluminum trim... what do you guys think?

depends on price and if you planned on modifying the car. for example if you were planning on buying wheels and lowering the car anyways then you dont really need the sport package. I too prefer the aluminum trim over the wood but its easy to just wrap the interior trim pieces in your choice of material. i did mine in brushed gunmetal, cost me less than 15 bucks and a couple hours to do . Does the premium package come with any other options you may be interested in? The ones that mattered to me were HID headlamps, Backup camera , and Mark Levinson audio.

My thoughts exactly, and yeah I really wanted the HID's and an the sound syatem and it has both. I thought the same thing about wrapping the trim too, easy and cheap. I'm gonna go test drive the car hopefully today, it has every option.

So, I went to test drive the car and I fell in love with it, so I'm buying it this weekend. It is an 06 charcoal is350 with the premium package and luxury package, so it has the HID's, navigation+backup cam, Mark Levinson Sound system, 18 inch wheels, cooled/heated seats, sunshade, memory seats and it has the rear spoiler.

Perfect blend of sport and luxury for me, its pretty quick. This will be the newest car I've ever owned lol

Congratulations on your purchase. I love my loaded '06 350 and you'll love yours too. And "Yes", they are pretty doggone quick.
