Help with Aux Button and Touchscreen not working
Hey guys,
I was hoping someone can help me out with a tech issue with my 2008 IS350. It started with the Aux button skipping and switching to the cd option when I was hitting potholes/bumps on the road. It just recently permanently stopped working all together and it only operates on cd mode. And now I’m noticing my touch screen doesn’t respond at all. The rest of the side control panel buttons work properly but the touchscreen is useless.

Sounds like your touchscreen is failing. From what I've read about the way these fail, there is a kapton, flat cable that solders from the touchscreen to the main controller board and over time that cable and solder joints get stressed and the cable breaks. There is a YouTube video of a guy repairing it.
