Default New Lexus Owner (code questions)

Just purchased a 2009 is250 with 78k. Got 3 codes, c1201, p0138 and p0606. Just a ecm fuse? Or could the 02 sensor be causing all this? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Run the codes first : THAN buy the car. Lol. Im sure someone will chime in soon with helpful information. Congratulations on your purchase though. Post up some pics!

C1201 and P0606 should, at this point, be considered effect codes.

P0138 should be considered the cause code.

P.S. Almost 100% of the time, fuses are not causes, they are symptoms.

Thanks for the advice! I was just out running some errands and the check engine light is gone. Still going to replace the 02 sensor.
what websites are best for Lexus parts? Oem and aftermarket.

You're asking a Toyota technician... I like OEM. ;-)

Before replacing anything, make sure that the issue isn't a wiring issue. 99.9% of the time it's the sensor.

Hey, so the check engine light came back. Im searching for the o2 sensor I need and I cant seem to find the right one. Its bank 1 sensor 1 but when I try to figure out the part I need and how to replace it I get different answers. I saw a video where it was under the battery? I also saw a graphic where the o2 sensor was just under the hood and doesnt take long to replace. Can anyone help me out?

Bank 1 sensor 1 is driver side facing the engine. Follw the valve cover to the rear it should below that area. You can' miss it it should have blue & white wires.

That' the one. Sorry I thought it was a blue wire. Black and white is the O2 sensor.

Thanks man! I have one last question. This is my first Lexus. I usually do all car work myself but it was easier with my Volvo and VW because they had dedicated websites like ipd or ecs tuning. Any sites like that for Lexus?

If your looking for online parts you could try Rockauto.com. They carry Denso which is the OEM part.
