Exclamation High beam flashing randomly and sometimes staying on !

Hi,
My 07 IS350 is acting funny and putting me in embarrassing situation. At random times (nearly every night) whenever the low beams are on (manual/auto) the high beams would go on. Sometimes they will stay on for up to even one week. Or they will flash several times before doing so.

FYI I installed VIPMotoz headlights roughly 2 weeks before the problem came in. I suspect the problem should be coming from a relay. However, I can't find high beam relay ! I saw the parking light switch relay (In fuse box next to engine ECU box), and the low beam switch relay (in the fuse box next to the battery). But found nothing for the high beams ! Where is the relay? or what could be the problem?

Please help .

FYI the problem is not controllable once it happens, meaning they will not go off by moving the stick or switching on/off lights.

Vipmotoz has terrible products. They always have problems with electrical or even sealing headlights properly.

Just return them.

check your fuses first

Hey thanks for the info. I might need to ask them how to fix it here. I bought them and shipped internationally (paid $150 for shipping) and to return them I would have to pay more than their actual price!

I wonder if anyone else had this issue. Did you find a solution?

is the highbeam stay on but not fully brightness? If so, check your main connector make sure it tie and no water on it. One of my customer got same problem and turn out he did not fully secure the main connector which allow get into it and make same issue as you got

Hi Raar & whitebeast,
FYI: Just as it randomly happened, it went away after 2 months of crazy and embarrassing flashes.
Only thing I did is pullout all the covers from fuse boxes, and clean the inside from dust. All fuses were OK. I hope this never happen again. I am suspecting the problem was from the lever inside the steering wheel though.
thx
