Default High beam problem

Hi,

I have a 2002 gs430 and have a headlamp problem.
The dipped lights work fine and the high beam works when I use the pass lever but not when I switch to high beam on.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your help

Did you have your low beam headlights on when you turned the high beams on? My high beams won't stay on unless the low beams are on so I'd assume yours is the same way.

Hi,

Yes the lights are on and pulling back on the stalk brings on main and dipped lights but pushing forward for high beam does nothing.
My first thought was a fuse but the main beam works on one setting but not on there own.
I hate electrical probs as I am more of a socket and screwdriver person.
