So this past summer I rented a 2017 Expedition on a vacation. I was parked on the street in an angled parking place. I had a mini van on my right and a jacked up pickup truck on my left. My view from the driver's seat was blocked both left and right so I couldn't tell when I could back out. I put the truck in reverse and low and behold I could see the both lanes to the left and the right and could see oncoming cars both directions in the backup camera. I was able to watch the camera until no cars were coming and back out. That was very nice.

My IS does not have that wide of an angle view on it. I can barely see behind the cars to my left and right and certainly cannot see oncoming traffic. Has anyone ever looked and replacing the camera or modifying it with a wider angle lens to allow more view of what's coming at you?
