Center Console Light Shorted.Nav Screen, Clock, AC Quit Working...
I know there are a lot of threads out there about the nav screen and AC going out, and I've read them and attempted solutions but have still come to no avail.
I was splicing into the wire that goes to the LED for that shines inside the armrest cubby and accidentally shorted it out (I know I should have disconnected battery...but I didn't think one damn LED shorting could wreak so much havoc.)
Immediately following, the NAV screen, AC, and clock went dead,. The Security LED still blinks, and the airbag lights still come on and function as normal, which would tell me that there is power...but what am I missing?
I've checked (I think) all of the fuses, and replaced anything that needed to be. Disconnected battery for a while. I reset the ECU. And followed just about every DIY available on the topic and haven't had any luck.
2007 model - Factory Nav.
Battery (Red Top) and Alternator (OEM) less than 6 months old.
Can anyone shed some light on my situation?
