I was looking for 2014 frontend conversion kits for my 2006 is250 and found this. It looks a bit too good to be true. What am I missing?

 

This is not the way to go. This is equivalent of eBay items. It's cheap plastic and fitment will be terrible.

It wont match your car.

 

The kit you are looking for is for 2014 and up. It called F-sport front end conversion

 

seems like the kit is for 2014-2016 non fsport to fsport.... won't work with our earlier models.

That spot is Legit. Better than Wally World. Ebay prolly send some used plastic from a Lex in accident covered up with some puddy. Stick to the sport shop Customz.

 

I just tried calling unik customs and the guy couldn't really understand me (or english very well). i think he said that he could get the bumper for the 3IS bumper swap but then he couldn't understand when i asked whether or not they did the painting in house or whether or not they could drill holes up front to fit the parking sensors. i really needed to talk to someone more proficient in english.

 

Yeah I tried calling and I didn't even get an answer, so you got a step further than me.

 

the guy who answered said that they were in the process of moving and to call back in two weeks (paraphrased).

 

They're probably selling bumpers that they graph together themselves. Not out of a mold.

 

I have seen his work and figment is good. He is a busy men but will get back to you. Another member here had his bumper made by him.

 

do you know if he does the 3IS f-sport conversion -- i have a 2014 that i'd like do this too -- or do you think that he is aimed at installing 3IS bumpers onto 2IS cars?

 

He does 3is conversion. He did full job, conversion, painted, and installing as well

 

i'd like to do this -- including everything needed for the job.

does anyone know how on point his painting is? i want it, of course, to look oem. that, and mismatched paint colors, even slight, drive me up the wall.
