Default Inquiry: Should I Buy?

First time on this site looking for inquiries/enquiries on whether or not I should buy a 2008 IS 350 with 114k miles priced under $12k,(3 owners) 2 damages reported Front accident in 2009 and Rear accident in 2010 (1st owner). 2nd owner kept it very well maintained. 3rd owner had an accident some time in 2017 to left rear, from pictures I've seen must have been repaired, lastly the car has a open recall from may 2016 (Front Passenger Airbag Inflator)

I would personally stay away from it. Too many owners , too many accidents.

Too many accidents if you ask me ( 1 is 1 too many!) check out this post by a VDA ( Vehicle Damage Assessor) including the video showing a 'late' airbag inflation, which could simply be due to an air bag sensor not being torqued to the correct level when fitted!!!

so hopefully plenty of others to choose from.

Damn....I would sell you my pristine one-owner (as in, I bought it brand new), Lexus-dealer maintained 2010 IS250 AWD with 160k miles for $12k. It even has the Super-Rare Luxury Plus Package with the super-soft semi-aniline leather, and NAV.

It's a work car (all highway miles) and the interior looks and even smells brand-new with zero marks or scratches.

So there is my opinion on that car you're looking at.

(that seat is my driver's seat after 160k miles, as the driver's seat alone can tell you how well most cars were taken care of)

Unless able to heavily discount the cost to like $7500, I'd look elsewhere.

I bought a mint is350 with 36k for 16400. If your willing to travel and patient you will find a better deal.
