I just crossed in to 100k a few months ago, I'm currently at 102k. Think I'm the second owner, bought it at 69k. Only things I have had to do repair wise so far is an o2 sensor, and had someone cut out a part of the exhaust and replace the pipe to resolve some leaks caused by the bad idea of putting a heat shield down there. Salt collects at the contact points and promotes rusting. Currently brainstorming what I should do with the radio as excessive heat seems to be causing issues with the electronics.

I'm showing symptoms of the carbon buildup issue, but I'm outside the 9 year window been treating it with seafoam to try and alleviate it ATM. Unfortunately I didn't know about the issue before I bought the car, or I would have looked around for a 350 instead. If anyone around Massachusetts or New Hampshire knows of a place that does walnut blasting I would appreciate it.

Edit: I just remembered, when I had my tired replaced we found that the passenger CV boot seal had gone and was spitting grease out while driving. The whole back side of the wheel was covered. Had them replace that so as not to cause issues later.

2009 with about 102k on the clock. It's all been routine stuff; oil, filters, tires and brakes. I think I'm still within the service period of the carbon, so I may bring it to the dealer to have that looked at. I do get a slightly rough idle now and again.

You are on the edge, try their test for the issue yourself, I think someone posted it here before. I was slightly over when I found out about the issue and tried to have them take care of it. I heard about it in January this year for the first time, then the rough idle/misfire issue happened to me while driving stop and go in the city one day in March or April, when I called them I was told my cars in service date was November, so I would have to pay for the service.

2010, with 115xxx miles. My only issues were common mod problems (02 sensors, OV tune check engine light, etc), but other than that still runs like a champ!

162k here still going strong. Suspension was shot but it's being refreshed with every FIGS Engineering part offered.

Original Owner with a 2010 IS 250 Awd with 168,000 Miles here--Still has the OEM water pump and alternator.

I've replaced the CV Boots, all 4 shocks, and had almost all of the work done at the dealer.

Planning on keeping her til she dies as she is a work car.

2008 IS250. I am the second owner and purchased it from my brother in law who got it at auction in PHX. 158,xxx. Turns out the car was serviced at the dealer for it's entire life. I have acquired all the records. Major engine service for carbon build-up at 123k, regular LOF, plugs RnR at appropriate mileage. I am confident it is a strong car overall. New to this forum...pics to follow. I wanna clean it up a bit first...

172,000 miles and it runs good. Thinking about doing some serious maintenance on it before too long. Like plugs, fluid flushes and grease where needed. Just put on new tires, alternator, 825cca battery, new brakes all around, new headlights and bulbs. Gonna go into the motor with some seafoam and change plugs and fluids.
