I researched and saw instructions on installing the mesh grill--has anyone ever installed this grill and any tips? How about replacing the chrome surround piece?

 

I didn't order that exact one but I did order off of eBay. It's very straightforward . Just be careful when transfering your L emblem.

 

There's a DIY on how to install and it's pretty straight forward. The one tip and can give is you don't have to remove the chrome surrounds when you install the mesh grille. Just be careful and slowly slide it in and this should save you lots of time.
