Steering Wheel Logo Repair
Looking for a simple inexpensive way to replace or repair the chipped chrome (plastic) Lexus logo in the center of the steering wheel on an 08 IS350.

^ That's essentially what i did, but used the clear silicone sealant instead of the brown. Did not remove the wheel or any other components either - just yanked it with a screwdriver and pliers, like an idiot. Did not understand the seriousness of doing what i did, but its done now and looks OK after the clear sealant was cleaned up!
Honestly though, i don't recommend doing this mod - it honestly isn't worth it. Id look at avoiding to pull the badge off and instead look to alternative methods to patch up the existing one. Yeah, I did get a shiny new badge on there, but i know its not installed correctly and it got scratched anyway during one of my failed install attempts.

The original logo is anchored, not glued, to the airbag cover to prevent the undesirable consequence from happening.
