2007 is250 HDD map update woes
hi all. I bought a japanese is250 and im trying to get new zealand maps loaded onto it. I have seen that most 07 is250's have dvd but the holes are missing to get to the slot behing the clock. How to i go about getting nz maps? Would be great to get the whole thing in english really. Lexus nz are no help at all.

The eBay listing that jr4div2 posted shows the usual holes in the clock face that the original poster said his lacks. I've never seen a JDM '07 IS250, but it seems improbable that they would get a HDD based unit while the rest of the world uses a DVD. Tonyis250, can you please post a picture of your unit?

There is no map disc or update for NZ that works with JDM models. NZ/AU Lexus map discs don't work I've tried them in my JDM IS350, Best option is to replace unit with NZ/AU one or one of the chinese aftermarket units
Also the ebay AU one above won't work either, you need 05-08 unit. Connections are different for newer generation 08+ units
