Anyone got info on wiring up an amp on a non mark levinson system? I want to keep the stock sub and amp but add an aftermarket sub/amp in the back. For simplicity id like to take my amp input from the input to the stock amp so i only need to run a power wire up through the car.

Not too hard. Get a good Hi-lo like a LC2i. Everyone tapped u to the amp. But for me so I don't have to look at diagrams I tapped into the stock subwoofer. I removed the stock stub too so it makes a hole for sound to travel. 2 wires going into stock sub. Super easy to tap into

I wired a Tang Band W8-2022 8" sub into the 2 factory sub wires. Didn't last long. So you just put a LC2i between the factor wires and the sub? I need subwoofers for dummies. Can you explain what you did like I'm in 5th grade?

Yes you can't do that lol. LC2i is a hilow. So it takes the signal from the stock amp and you plug it into your amp as if you have RCAs connected to the back of a aftermarket unit. Your not sucking power from those thin *** wired or using the stock amp to power anything this way. Putting a aftermarket sub on the stock amp and wiring wouldn't last too long lol.
