Don't go to the dealer unless you can't buy it else where. Why pay more for OEM parts? But hey, it's your money.

https://www.mylparts.com/ is a vendor on CL. They offer a 5% discount on parts. CL5 at checkout. Shipping sucks though especially if you just order 1 item.

Are the part numbers the same for IS350? The dealer told me the filter is not replaceable when I had them exchange the fluid with their special adapter.

Here are all of the models:

IS250 RWD:
35330-30090 - Strainer, Transmission
35168-22020 - Gasket, Transmission Oil Pan
90301-31014 - O-Ring, Strainer to Valve Body

IS350 RWD:
35330-50020 - Strainer, Transmission
35168-22020 - Gasket, Transmission Oil Pan
90301-31014 - O-Ring, Strainer to Valve Body

IS250 AWD / IS350 AWD:
35330-30080 - Strainer, Transmission
35168-60010 - Gasket, Transmission Oil Pan
90301-31014 - O-Ring, Strainer to Valve Body

These are not a typical service item, and are not normally changed like they would be on a domestic application or similar. You can certainly change it if you are so inclined, but it's not something that is normally done on Toyota/Lexus models in general.

yeah, $60 is about right. Dealer might charge more. Call your local Lexus parts department and ask.
